San diego - new year eve
Dinner at 777 noodle house
Nice !
They had a good spread of condiments, including green chilli n chilli paste ( hk style) ..as well as the ubiquitous hoisin sauce
We ordered 1 dry noodle, 1 soup noodle n 1 ngor hiang dish ..all tasted good .. bill was at only 21.95usd
Good tasty meal :)

Went to mission valley in the morning for some retail hunting..place was near hotel which was good..shops avail were also of a good mix - consisted of staples like bloomingdales, macys, jcpenney ..n standard fare like forever21, hnm, footlocker
There was a nice lego retail shop which we bought a set+baseplate for liam
Lunch was a chinese takeaway frm panda express..despite the unfavourable online reviews, we found the food to b quite ok tasting ..portion size was also decently big for 9usd plus ..not too bad

Thrift shop hunting - tried to search for some retro gold at couple of thrift shops in san diego
But to no avail..kinda disappointing .. n to top it up, had to endure bad traffic
Went to tis shop called thrift trader..tonnes of vinyl records n clothes..but limited games.
Bought a madden sega genesis game for 3usd plus though
Next went to goodwill .
but nothing .. games were at 5.99 each ..but badly organised ..saw a ps1 vagrant story but no disc ?! wah biang
